The Rug Registry is Hoodpedia's permanent filing of tokens whose deployer address took an action inconsistent with what was published at launch, documented strictly by on-chain facts and cited receipts. Filings name addresses, never persons, and every filing requires at least one resolvable transaction or contract citation before it is accepted.
A Rug Registry entry is not accepted on accusation alone. Every entry cites the specific transactions, contract calls, or archived public statements it relies on, resolvable by any reader against a public chain explorer or an archived link. An entry with unresolvable citations does not ship.
Filings describe what a deployer address did against what was publicly stated at or before launch — moved a curve's reserve to an unrelated address shortly after graduation, for instance, or diverged from a published fee split. The entry states the divergence and its evidence; it does not speculate about motive.
If a filed entry's deployer address later completes Hoodpedia's claim process (see Deployer wallets), the entry gains a labeled Statement box carrying the deployer's reply, capped at 500 characters. The Statement box is additive — it never edits or removes the underlying filing, and the claim fee that unlocks it does not purchase a change to the record.
